My philosophy on posing is not much posing at all, but rather, I love to pull out prompts to get you (and your loved ones) natural and in the moment. No more prom poses or just look and say cheese… no, no, we’re here to capture embrace, legacy, memories that will last from generation to generation.

When I get you to be in THE moment (one that's real + feels lived in) that’s when all the dreamy magic happens. AND THIS. IS. WHAT. WE’RE. HERE. FOR. There are absolutely no promises that I won't lose it (in the best way possible) when we get to this moment.

I'm so glad to see you here! From the new parents to the empty nesters gathering the family together, to the cutest little grandbabes, I'm so happy to spend time capturing the legacy of your family! Let’s get this straight, family photos are something that can be either AMAZING or real cringe… with that being said, I want to avoid all of that from the start. With me, you can rest assured that I won’t pull out a cringey Christmas backdrop, fake snow, or even better, no more painfully staged poses. Like my approach to everything else photo, I aim for LOVE + EMOTION.

When it comes to documenting the love stories of a husband and wife becoming one, I follow three main principles that make up my philosophy. The first of these is emotion. When getting to know a couple my biggest ask of them is to show their emotion. Seeing their emotions come alive is what drives the heartbeat of authentic love at work in front of the camera. It’s not the posing, it’s not the staged looks, it’s nothing but you and your deeply rooted love for one another that displays the beauty of your story. It is in these moments where stories turn into legacies. For me, photographing weddings is not for the temporary or the fickle-minded, it’s for those who want a legacy of their love. A legacy that goes deeper than the age of social media, but is one that is shared with your grandchildren 40 years from now.
